ThyssenKrupp Elevator (China) has supplied 44 Velino escalators to the major property developer, SOHO China, for its Sanlitun SOHO Complex in Chaoyang District, Beijing.

The 44 escalators produced by ThyssenKrupp Elevator are installed in the five shopping malls, where 28 units are already operating in the three north wing malls frequented daily by numerous customers, while the other 16 escalators located in the two south wing malls will be put into operation when they are open to the public later this year. All the escalators are tailored to meet the customer’s specific requirements, such as wider supporting distances and juxtaposition of two parallel escalator units with all-in-one exterior cladding. In addition to moving passengers smoothly and efficiently between floors, the ThyssenKrupp Elevator escalators also help to enhance the aesthetic appeal and visual impact of the Sanlitun SOHO Complex.
